Their Artillery isn't even that good if you take Doomdivers, Cygors, Hellcannons, and Steam Tanks into the mix, and it's still super expensive. No cavalry, their air units get shredded by any other air unit, no magic, mostly no regen, Artillery is expensive, and usually only gets 1-2 volleys off before being mobbed by cavalry/bats/wolves. Edit: Just for emphasis I want to point out that VC picks up VARGHEISTS at the same tier everyone else is getting shielded spearmen. The only problem is you have to manually fight battles a lot in the early game since zombies count against you, but Vlad's vanguard saves you a lot of time. Meanwhile you're recycling zombies and skeletons into grave guard and black knights, and Vlad's level 4 ability is giving your entire army silver chevrons. If you start Vlad you'll have 3 LLs within 20 turns and start pumping vargheists (T2) and crypt horrors (T3) at about the same time or soon after. The AI has no idea how to play VC so your first 2 provinces are a joke. VC are very powerful and get rolling incredibly quickly. Think we missed one?
